Overview
Swiss Food Research needed a website to connect food stakeholders in Switzerland to create radical innovations that drive change in the agri-food sector. From the farms to the consumers. In this project, as UX/UI designer, I was first allowed to create a prototype and finally implement it as a final website with Elementor in Wordpress. A big thank you to Marina Helm Romaneschi from Swiss Food Research for bringing me on board and allowing us to realise this exciting project together.
Problem
How can we bridge the gap between farmers and citizens to create a more resilient and sustainable Swiss agri-food system? The solution should be intuitive and understandable for all target groups and easy to replace and use internally. Especially with such a diverse range of stakeholders, it is important that the solution is user-friendly and understandable in order to make the process comprehensible. It is also important that the solution does not incur high costs and that there are many resources available for the selected technology.
Solution
A website focussing on usability makes it easier to use for all stakeholders and brings the goal of Future Food Farming closer. Supported by simple graphics, the process of the complex topic is made understandable. The page is structured in such a way that visitors are introduced to the topic step by step and can join the community at the end. To keep costs low, the project is managed with Wordpress and implemented with Elementor. This means that changes can be made quickly. A variety of plugins are available if required.
